The Impressive Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grande Tradition Caliber 985
JLC's perpetual calendar, regulated by a cylindrical flying tourbillon, returns in a more refined and redesigned form.Jaeger Lecoultre Master fake
The Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grande Tradition collection features the brand's most complicated timepieces, featuring multi-component movements and breathtaking finishes and craftsmanship. Drawing on nearly 200 years of expertise, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grande Tradition collection boasts iconic complications such as the tourbillon, minute repeater, and perpetual calendar, often combined, all designed, manufactured, and assembled at the Jaeger-LeCoultre Manufacture in the Vallée de Joux. The latest addition to this elite collection is the Master Grande Tradition Caliber 985, which seamlessly combines a sophisticated perpetual calendar with a moon-phase display and a cylindrical flying tourbillon. While the movement has been used in the past, the case and dial have been meticulously remodeled, and we were fortunate to spend some time with the pink gold model, a material specially designed for Jaeger-LeCoultre's most complex movements.
The latest Calibre 985 movement is a breathtaking blend of complexity and astonishment, and its sheer number of parts speaks for itself. The case alone contains 80 parts, while the automatic movement boasts an astonishing 431 (83 of which are in the flying tourbillon). Before delving into its technical prowess, let's first take a look at the redesigned pink gold case. It's a generous size, measuring 42 mm in diameter and just 13.27 mm thick. high quality fake watches
Viewed from above, the round case, bezel, and tops of the screw-down lugs all feature a classic polished finish. However, the side view reveals the case's intricate construction. The crown is surrounded by a recessed sandblasted area, resting on a polished circular bar with brushed sides. The left side of the case is also sandblasted and skeletonized, featuring the same polished bar as the crown. The polished caseback is secured by four gold screws, and beneath it, a brushed bezel surrounds a sapphire crystal. A Warm New Textured Dial
While the layout is similar to the earlier platinum edition, the dial exudes a more modern character thanks to varying textures and finishes that create contrast and enhance legibility. The gorgeous chestnut brown sun-brushed dial is divided into two levels; the upper level, housing the calendar and moon phases, covers nearly two-thirds of the dial and features rose gold hour markers between 9 and 3 o'clock. Details such as the micro-blasted dark brown minute track around the periphery and the micro-blasted rings around the subdials add a modern touch, while also providing a contrasting surface for the three-dimensional laser-engraved lettering and embossed numerals, making them stand out against a dial packed with information. A hand-beveled rose gold bridge separates the two dials, with the arched area housing the flying tourbillon located on the lower dial.
Complex Caliber 985
This flying tourbillon comprises 83 parts crafted from titanium and weighs a mere 0.386 grams. JLC engineers, understanding how hairsprings of different shapes vibrate, decided to produce a cylindrical hairspring for its Caliber 985. As one of the few manufacturers capable of machining its own hairsprings, JLC has a distinct advantage in creating a cylindrical hairspring, an invention dating back to 1776 but largely forgotten until today. The hairspring's ends are coiled inward, and it beats concentrically in every position, regardless of amplitude or remaining power reserve. With the tourbillon's upper bridge removed, you can observe the cylindrical balance spring in action. An arc-shaped scale below the tourbillon's aperture indicates the seconds, while three blue hands mounted on the tourbillon's cage measure 20-second intervals as the mechanism completes a 60-second rotation. fake luxury watches
The back of the watch showcases the fine watchmaking craftsmanship of the automatic 985 movement, including sun-brushed Geneva waves, blued screws, snailed finishing, hand-chamfering, and a beautifully crafted 22K gold skeletonized rotor engraved with the gold medal awarded to Antoine LeCoultre at the 1851 Universal Exhibition. The watch boasts a power reserve of 45 hours with continuous winding, and the moon phase display remains accurate for up to 122 years.
The Master Grande Tradition Calibre in pink gold showcases the brand's exquisite craftsmanship with a majestic presence. Its refined design and rich finishes enhance legibility, while the combination of pink gold and chestnut brown exudes warmth and luxury. We think this pink gold model is the most alluring of the three new models; the collection also offers a platinum case (with or without diamonds on the bezel). Jacob & Co. Astronomia fake
